Went on a weeknight to have dinner with my sister and brother in law. Not many people in the place. We were well taken care of by our server. Food was great and the atmosphere was good
Quick stop for a Friday lunch on a day off! About 5 tables were being served. The ice tea tasted fresh and cold. The wait staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. One of our waitresses was being trained. She did a great job and was extra kind. Napkins, ranch, and tea refills without waiting around. Good food! We ordered the small chicken fried steak with 2 sides - purple hull peas and fried okra for the win. Chicken strips with fries for the kiddo! Gravy and ranch as requested for dipping. We will be back and look forward to trying more items! I also want to sit at the bar to try out the unique bar stools!
Live the Relay Station often eat her for a steak on the way home from TRF. Always enjoy the ribeye with a cold shiner boch. I am a knight fighter at TRF and some join me for dinner there as well and we enjoy the casual atmosphere and service. One of us may eat the 85 ounce steak dinner soon.
Had an early dinner. Food was delicious! Had chicken fried steak with cream gravy, and okra. Both were crispy and outstanding! Also had Mac and cheese. Not sure if fresh, but still good. The waitress was phenomenal! Very accommodating and quick with refills. She paid very close attention but never felt like she was interrupting. Would definitely go back! Dining room was small, but clean and welcoming, like an old log cabin. Only 2 other parties came in while we were there. Only concern would be if someone in your party had gluten allergies. My wife didn't go, but I know she would've been extremely nervous. They did have grilled chicken and baked potato, but cross contamination is always a concern.
Good restaurant. A little outdated by if you want some fried catfish this is a must try. The service is good and it's hardly ever packed just because of the location I believe. Give it a try!
If you blink you will miss it. I promise it is not a place you want to drive by, STOP! The catfish is perfectly fried in cornmeal and the sides are fresh and delicious. Their pea salad is my favorite. I can take or leave a side salad but theirs is fantastic. The dressings are homemade and they add all kinds of fresh veggies.
